Our Story
I’ve dreamed of since I was a little girl, and I’m so hopeful that adoption will help me grow the family I’ve been waiting for with all my heart. I’m a caring, creative, and loving person, a mix of silly and sentimental.
I live in the same warm, welcoming neighborhood I grew up in. I spend my days running my own business, bringing creative enrichment programs to children across the area. I teach preschool dance and yoga classes, so my days are filled with movement, music, storytelling, and lots of laughter. It’s truly the most wonderful job in the world. Watching a shy child light up with confidence or seeing a little one beam with pride after learning a new dance move reminds me how powerful creativity and connection can be in a young child’s life. This work is not just my career, it’s my passion, and it keeps me grounded in what matters most: nurturing children with love, joy, and presence.
My family means the world to me. My parents, brother, sister-in-law, and two amazing nieces all live nearby, and we’re incredibly close. We share meals,

Christmas cookies and backyard barbecues to our beloved “Christmas in July” pool party. I also have two sweet dogs who are ready for endless snuggles and playtime with a new sibling.
Whether I’m working in the garden, dancing in the kitchen, exploring new places, or simply enjoying a quiet walk through the neighborhood, I try to live each day with gratitude, kindness, and joy. I’m excited to build new traditions and fill our home with music, books, bedtime stories, messy art projects, quiet moments, and a whole lot of hugs. More than anything, I’m ready to give my whole heart to a little one, and
I can't wait to share this beautiful life with them.

I'm a cheerful, hard-working single lady who teaches at a university. I've got an incredibly strong relationship with my parents, not to mention a squad of friends who are The Best™. My job allows me to be home five days a week, and any child in my family qualifies for free tuition at the university I work at. Each day in our family is a new adventure, between teaching, hanging out with my friends, and trying to learn new things to bake. When I'm not cooking, I can often be found cuddling my dogs, watching my favorite movies, or working in the garden. But, I also love to travel and experience new cultures. Our backyard has about twenty rose bushes in the 'secret garden' half of the yard. On the other side of the yard is our vegetable garden. We love to grow a lot of our own vegetables and fruit; there's nothing like fresh strawberries! Just a couple of blocks away from our house is a darling park, and in the other direction is our local library. Pretty much everyone in the neighborhood knows us (mostly because the dogs love to say hi to anyone they see on our walks). We're also part of a close-knit church community, and most Sundays I walk to church. Family Traditions Every Christmas we get ornaments that represent something important for the year In the winter, we put luminaria in front of the house Halloween is when our extended family gets together for a Not-So-Spooky Dinners Every other year, we go on vacation to Yellowstone National Park

starting our new journey with adoption. We feel strongly that we will be led exactly where we need to be to add onto our family. We hope this message is received with love and assurance that we have the best and most genuine intentions. We know that this is the greatest gift we could possibly receive and we’re so happy that you have made it to this point. That being said, let me tell you more about our family. Our family enjoys the simple things in life. We love going on little adventures to new places, eating out on the weekends, riding our fourwheeler, going laser tagging and spending our evenings outside at our firepit with our two golden retrievers. We plan yearly vacations so we can always have something fun to look forward to. It’s a priority for us to have lasting memories and quality time together. Cory fills the role of protector and provider perfectly. He always makes sure our family has what we need. He has sacrificed a lot towards his education and has been awarded his PHD. When he’s not working he loves to be on the mountains, or spending his evenings at home with the Kenadee was meant to be a mom and wife. She is a nurturer, a talented baker with her own

We have family & friends who have adopted or are adopted. Everyone is supportive & happy for us! We are committed & enthusiastic about being a consistent presence, adapting & supporting a child through every new phase in life & growing with them through one another’s lessons & mistakes along the way. We both value education & spiritual growth. It is important to us that they have opportunities to grow in these areas as well. We will encourage them to gain experience & knowledge in whatever holds their interest. We will want them to feel comfortable in their identity & who they are. We will not hesitate to make connections & offer them experiences that will help them explore in a stable, comfortable way & at their own pace. We value wisdom, compassion, critical thinking, humility, love, & the ability to balance that love with reason. We will encourage them to consider these things in whatever path they choose to take in life. We will also remind them it’s important to take time to laugh & appreciate everything they have. I (Kate) met Ed 16 years ago online. I messaged Ed when I realized his profile had more heart & humor than the rest. Within our first conversation, we both knew we found a match in mental energy, playful banter, loyalty, & affection. We both work from home & make coffee together in the morning. We have a home-cooked meal at night & talk about anything & everything.
