They will have a lot of cousins and friends to play with, and a lot of family members who will want to hold them forever. We met 16 years ago while out with friends at a local bar. We had a mutual friend we were with that night. From there we went on dinner dates, nature walks and horseback ridings, and an engagement 6 months later. We were both in school and working to save for a wedding a year and a half later. We have always been hard-working individuals with a passion to start a family. We have built a strong foundation and beautiful life that we are eager to share with our future child. This consists of a strong support system, a safe home, and a quiet neighborhood. We’re Chelsea and Simon, and we’re excited to start our family through adoption. We’re a warm, fun, slightly adventurous pair who love our home, our little everyday rituals, and the people around us. We’ve both always pictured a family filled with love, curiosity, and laughter, and we’re ready to give a child all the stability and joy we can. We don’t currently have children, and building a family hasn’t been a simple road for us. We explored different paths, including surrogacy, and eventually realized that biology wasn’t what mattered to us. What matters is creating a family based on love, connection, and commitment. Simon (French) & Chelsea (American) met on the app “OK Cupid” in Dublin, Ireland in 2018. We hit it off from our first date and had an instant connection. What surprised both of us was how different we were from each other, and yet how well we both understood each other so well. In 2021, we got a “PACS”, which is a civil union in France. In 2023, Chelsea proposed to Simon (and he said yes!). In 2025, we got married in a small and beautiful ceremony near our home in England. Simon spent most of his life living abroad before settling in the UK. He has travelled to more than 35 countries and loves discovering the world. He has a career in technology and volunteers as an emergency medical responder (EMT), one of his biggest passions. He also loves DIY and woodworking. Chelsea is American and a big animal lover, she’s been a vegetarian for 20 years. She works in nonprofit organizations around the world on issues like poverty and conflict. When she was 25, she moved to Ireland by herself. Having lived in New York City for years, she decided to finally go live abroad, a dream she had had all her life.

We’re Kevin and Itzel and were fortunate enough to meet 7 years ago. After two years of marriage, we began fertility treatment to have our beautiful daughter, Julia, who turned four this summer. We have a company dedicated to software development, which allows us to work 100% from home. We love to travel, and this will allow our children to experience different cultures and diverse perspectives. We are a bicultural family, and we love celebrating the holidays of both cultures. We enjoy big parties with the whole family, and thankfully, both our families get along very well. We spend time in Mexico and in the USA, and we want our children to have the best of both worlds. We also have some European connections, so we also spend some time in Europe, and we are sure this will allow our children to have many options about where they want to study and pursue their careers. Kevin in Itzel’s words: He's a calm man. I like that he thinks things through before doing them. He gives me peace of mind, and for me, that's the closest thing to happiness. He's a man with a big heart, and he's considerate of me and my family. He has a fantastic relationship with my father, siblings, and extended family. He has the ability to surprise me with beautiful details, which may be simple, but which he does with great love. He's an excellent father and life partner, and a great provider. Itzel in Kevin´s words: The ying and the yang, while I am calm and easy-going, Itzel is always in go mode to push the rest of us to get things done, make our family productive, and fill our time with activities. She shows her love more in making sure we’re all (me, her siblings, her father, our daughter) taken care of and getting our medical checkups, etc. She is also an excellent mother. She is very sociable and fun, she has the ability to make friends everywhere we go and people always feel good being around her.

I’ve dreamed of since I was a little girl, and I’m so hopeful that adoption will help me grow the family I’ve been waiting for with all my heart. I’m a caring, creative, and loving person, a mix of silly and sentimental. I live in the same warm, welcoming neighborhood I grew up in. I spend my days running my own business, bringing creative enrichment programs to children across the area. I teach preschool dance and yoga classes, so my days are filled with movement, music, storytelling, and lots of laughter. It’s truly the most wonderful job in the world. Watching a shy child light up with confidence or seeing a little one beam with pride after learning a new dance move reminds me how powerful creativity and connection can be in a young child’s life. I live in West Africa, where my days often look different. Some days I’m out working with others in the community, other days I’m home working, but every day starts with a workout, a protein smoothie, and often ends with cooking, friends, or a baseball game. I’ve been blessed with an incredible circle of family and friends around the world. My sisters are my best friends, we travel, laugh, and create memories together, and my local community here is a daily source of encouragement, fun, and support. Kids have always been part of my heart. Since I was little, I’ve been the one with a baby on my hip, and even now, babies and kids seem to find me. They brighten my days and keep my heart full. I’ve wanted to be a mom since I was two, and I can’t wait to raise a child with a life rooted in love, joy, and adventure. I look forward to continuing to go on adventures with the child I add to my family, hiking with muddy boots, chasing sunsets, sampling ice cream in every new city we visit, and paddling across lakes with our toes dangling in the water. Whether big or small, I want them to experience the thrill of trying new things and the wonder of seeing the world with wide-open eyes. Rocky swears it was love at first sight, while Heather took her sweet time catching up. Back then, Heather was fostering teenagers, but Rocky wasn't deterred; he jumped right in, ready to tackle life with teenagers like a pro. His compassion, sharp wit, and uncanny ability to listen, quickly won Heather's heart. She initially thought he was too good to be true, yet he proved her wrong day after day. They tied the knot in 2020 with a paddle-board ceremony due to covid regulations. Note from Rocky Rocky describes Heather as being the most genuinely honest, loving, and caring person he has ever met. Her smile lights up his world. She embraces life's experiences with the enthusiasm of a kid in a candy store, and Rocky feels incredibly lucky to have found her. Heather has this magical ability to inspire everyone around her to become their best selves, loving everyone for who they are. Note from Heather Heather describes Rocky as always thinking of others and finding ways to lend a hand, whether it’s helping family or making Heather laugh on a tough day. He has a special gift for teaching, too. Every time they take on a new project, Heather learns something new. She feels incredibly lucky to have a partner who’s not only kind and capable but also loves diving into life’s adventures by her side. Heather is the middle child of five siblings, and Rocky is the youngest of two. Heather and Rocky are very close with their families, and everyone lives within a 30-minute drive. They often get together for dinner and play soccer or volleyball at the park. Rocky and Heather love to spend their free time with family and friends, but they especially love to hang out with their nieces and nephews; whether it’s goofing around in the backyard or cheering them on at one of their games or performances. Their fur babies are a big part of their lives. They have two wonderful dogs; Barkley is the sweetest and brings a smile to their faces every day. Maezie has lots of energy and keeps them on their toes. They also have three adorable cats; Geppetto is timid and loves snuggles, Poppy is their little shadow, and Mavis is their adventurous hunter that loves the outdoors. Rocky works full time close by and is able to maneuver his schedule.

We have so much love to give and strive to be the best parents we possibly can. Going through all we did has given us an even stronger love for the children we get to be blessed with to have in our home. We feel like any typical family. We love to have quality time together, and you can often find us in our backyard having movie nights or barbeques. We like to go on outdoor adventures kayaking, hiking, and riding our side by side. But, we also just love to be cozy in our house making meals or baking treats together, playing board games, or settling down at night reading books together before bed. A couple times a year we will travel as a family. We love to spend our Saturdays at farmer’s markets, parks, zoos, or other local events. And we enjoy slow, quiet mornings and church together on Sundays, often ending the weekend with extended family for Sunday dinner. A Little About Us We both work in tech and our hobbies include music, cooking, home renovation and skiing. We are devoted dog parents to our beautiful golden retriever, Lilo, and we love spending time with our three young nephews and newborn niece. Six years ago we met at a local beer garden. We were introduced by a mutual friend who thought we would be a great match. They were right! We instantly connected on our common interests and values. Being normally shy people, we were surprised by how comfortable we were with each other right away. It felt like we had known each other forever! Not too long after, we were dating and meeting each other’s families. When talking about our future, it was clear to both of us that we wanted to get married and start a family. We got engaged on Christmas Day and had a small wedding ceremony at our home the following year. It was perfect! Since then, we’ve continued to be inseparable. We’ve bought (and renovated) our home, raised our dog Lilo, traveled, and watched plenty of shows, cozy on our couch, all together. About Chris (by Tim) One of the things I most love about Chris is that he always prioritizes family. No matter how crazy life gets, he’s always there to help. Like when he stayed with his mom for a week to care for her after a surgery or when he babysits our nephews when their parents need a getaway. And at home, Chris constantly spoils me with delicious homemade dinners and helps me handle stressful days with support and hugs. It’s clear that Chris is going to make a fantastic father! I can always count on Chris to figure out how to fix something around the house. He’s a great problem-solver, if there’s something he doesn’t know how to do (not much!), he takes on the challenge to learn a new skill. We’ve worked on some super-intimidating renovation projects that I really couldn’t do without Chris. Chris has led a very successful career as a software engineer. He is incredibly smart and has high expectations of himself and others to make the best product possible. I'm a cheerful, hard-working single lady who teaches at a university. I've got an incredibly strong relationship with my parents, not to mention a squad of friends who are The Best™. My job allows me to be home five days a week, and any child in my family qualifies for free tuition at the university I work at. Each day in our family is a new adventure, between teaching, hanging out with my friends, and trying to learn new things to bake. When I'm not cooking, I can often be found cuddling my dogs, watching my favorite movies, or working in the garden. But, I also love to travel and experience new cultures. Our backyard has about twenty rose bushes in the 'secret garden' half of the yard. On the other side of the yard is our vegetable garden. We love to grow a lot of our own vegetables and fruit; there's nothing like fresh strawberries! Just a couple of blocks away from our house is a darling park, and in the other direction is our local library. Pretty much everyone in the neighborhood knows us (mostly because the dogs love to say hi to anyone they see on our walks). We're also part of a close-knit church community, and most Sundays I walk to church. She enjoys being a stay-at-home mom and homeschooling our son. She also enjoys collecting unique items for our home from antique shops and pottery from various countries. Luke has a very inquisitive mind. He loves to read, playing with Legos, and doing family movie nights. Luke is a very giving child. We love to spend time together whether chilling at home watching a movie, playing games, shooting nerf guns or exploring and traveling near and far from home.

We originally met in college, but it wasn't until after graduation, when we spent more time together, that we really connected. There was just something special about each other that felt right-we were drawn to each other's adventurous spirit, shared goofiness, and how everything seemed to feel more fun and meaningful when we were together. Dating felt natural, like an exciting new chapter, and we found ourselves bonding over our love for exploring new places, trying out unique coffee shops and restaurants, and cruising side by side on motorcycle rides. It didn't take long for us to know this was it. So, during one of our most memorable vacations, we got engaged, ready to make it official. A year and a half later, we said "I do" surrounded by our closest friends and family, in a celebration full of love and laughter. Since then, we've continued to embrace life together-whether through travel, local festivals, or taking on new challenges every year. And we cherish the little things just as much: early morning coffee dates, walks with our dog, or game nights with friends that leave us laughing for hours. How We Met: We first met in 2014 at a rock-climbing gym in Texas. We both found this rock-climbing group online and ironically it was the first time climbing with this group for the both of us. So glad we both decided to try something new and start rock climbing. What a great way to meet! We immediately hit it off and both volunteered to do trail building (building new trails or maintaining old trails) at Colorado Bend State Park. When we arrived at the park Friday night, we set up camp and started talking and getting to know the other volunteers. Soon it was just us talking and staring at the stars well into the night before we finally noticed the time and headed off to bed to get some sleep before our early morning of work. After that weekend, we kept running into each other at the rock-climbing gym when we met our group once a week to climb. We always seemed to be leaving at the same time and then ended up talking in the parking lot for an hour before we forced the conversation to an end so we could get some sleep before work the next morning. We soon realized we would need lessons if we really wanted to improve our climbing and be able to scale the harder routes. Now we were seeing each other twice a week (once for class and once to climb with our group). Our time together continued to grow and grow, and in 2016, we were married surrounded by our families. A few words from Danielle I've wanted to adopt ever since I was 18 years old when I helped at an orphanage in Peru. Seeing all the children that needed a loving home hit my heart and I knew that I would adopt one day. Over a decade later, we love how Alexis has added to our family and want her to have a sibling close in age to grow up with.

Who are we? Jessica is a family medicine doctor who sees patients of all ages, from babies to senior citizens. Kevin works as a healthcare executive helping improve quality of care for patients. We have been together for 18 years and married for 12 years. We met in college and since then we have had many wonderful adventures together and continue to be best friends. We do not yet have any children, only 3 friendly and cuddly cats. Jessica is a huge reader and loves to bake and cook along with crafting and sewing. Kevin is a big sports fan, especially baseball, basketball, and football, as well as taking long walks and listening to music.

We have been together for more than 12 years and are truly best friends. We initially lived in Northern Virginia which is where our immediate family resides and then lived in New York City where we got engaged and then later married in our hometown. After 5 amazing years in the big apple, we decided to move to San Diego, California and simultaneously, travel the world! We've been to over 40 countries and cannot wait to share this passion with our child when the time is right. Traveling has made us realize that there is so much out there in the world and different ways to grow a family. Adoption has been important to us as the primary method to expand our family and we are absolutely honored to be on this journey with you. Our Lifestyle In our free time, we love to be outdoors, whether it is in our backyard which has a pool and barbeque area or going to the beaches which are 10 to 15 minutes away. We're passionate about trying out new recipes or going out to different restaurants, Gobind loves ice cream and Reema can't get enough pizza! We are very fortunate to have our families along with us on this journey, we celebrate holidays and important milestones together and make sure to visit each other as much as possible. Our parents will give us a hand raising the child we adopt and they are all just as excited as we are. Together we hope to pass on important values of family, community, and respect to our children.
