Our Story
I live in West Africa, where my days often look different. Some days I’m out working with others in the community, other days I’m home working, but every day starts with a workout, a protein smoothie, and often ends with cooking, friends, or a baseball game. I’ve been blessed with an incredible circle of family and friends around the world. My sisters are my best friends, we travel, laugh, and create memories together, and my local community here is a daily source of encouragement, fun, and support.
Kids have always been part of my heart. Since I was little, I’ve been the one with a baby on my hip, and even now, babies and kids seem to find me. They brighten my days and keep my heart full. I’ve wanted to be a mom since I was two, and I can’t wait to raise a child with a life rooted in love, joy, and adventure. I look forward to continuing to go on adventures with the child I add to my family, hiking with muddy boots, chasing sunsets, sampling ice cream in every new city we visit, and paddling across lakes with our toes dangling in the water. Whether big or small, I want them to experience the thrill of trying new things and the wonder of seeing the world with wide-open eyes.
Family life with me will be cozy, joyful, and a little adventurous. There will be days at home filled with cooking, games, and laughter, and other days spent out in the community together. My work is flexible, so I’ll be a stay-at-home mom while also modeling what it looks like to live a life of purpose and service. Your child will be surrounded by a loving community of friends and family who are ready to embrace them with open arms.
Why We Want to Adopt
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. Though I’d always rather be climbing a mountain trail or paddle boarding across clear water, I can also be perfectly happy curled up at home with a Braves game or a good crime drama, or hanging out with friends, since traveling full-time isn’t a reality. If I didn’t live in a hot climate, my outfit of choice would be jeans, a hoodie, and tennis shoes, comfortable, practical, and ready for anything. You can often find me in the kitchen experimenting with a new recipe or baking something to share. (And yes, I do believe life is too short for bad food or bad ice cream. Wherever I travel, I’m always searching for the best of both!)
Our Life and Lifestyle
I also want you to know that my home will be a safe place for your child, a place where they are supported, encouraged, and deeply loved through both the joys and the challenges of life. I will celebrate their victories and help them learn from their mistakes, always reminding them that their worth is never based on what they do, but on who they are. My greatest desire is to walk with them through every season, cheering them on, offering comfort, and giving them the confidence to grow into the unique person they were created to be.
From the very beginning, I want your child to grow up knowing that their story started long before I held them in my arms. I want them to know they have a birth family who has always loved and cared deeply for them. If it’s your desire, I’d be honored to stay in contact so you can see that the child we both love is safe, cherished, and cared for by many. Staying connected would also give them the beautiful gift of knowing you, your love, and the places they came from.
If you choose me, I promise to love your child with all of my heart, unconditionally, forever. They will grow up in a home full of love, laughter, adventure, and belonging. Most of all, they will always know they are deeply loved by God, by you, and by me.

measure. Your choice of adoption is one of immense strength and generosity. Adoption is a familiar word in our family. Sarah was adopted by her parents and she understands both the challenges and triumphs of that experience from the child’s perspective. We would be excited and honored to give that same unconditional love to your baby. Our battle with secondary, unexplained infertility has been a message from God that adoption is our path to grow our family. Infertility has been hard, but getting to follow in Sarah’s parents’ footsteps is powerful. To share a little about us , Kennedy loves her friends and family. Her favorite things to do are being with her animals, riding horses, snowboarding, and playing music with her dad, Cameron. Cameron is an athlete and a musician. He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to these things. Hearing the first note of any song, he can tell you who sings it, and what year it was released. Oh yeah-and he loves Jeopardy!

truly admire your strength and courage throughout this process. We are praying for you every single day and hope you can find peace in your decision. We are parents to our sweet son Brexton, who is five. We were blessed with him through the gift of adoption, and we are so excited to have the opportunity to add to our family through adoption again. Out of all the things to learn about us, one of the most important things we want you to know is that you will forever be a part of your child’s life to whatever extent you want to be. You are forever a part of their story and who they are and where they come from. We truly view adoption as becoming a big family. We will forever honor you as their first mama and hope you know we will love them as you do. A little about us: We met in 2011 and dated for two years before we tied the knot in 2013. We’re each other's best friends and have grown close together through all that life has thrown our way. We went through 7 years of unexplained infertility and had recurrent pregnancy loss with 6 miscarriages along the way. Ultimately, we felt strongly about adoption for our family, and it has been the biggest blessing in our lives. We are so blessed to be able to have the opportunity to add to our family through adoption and couldn't imagine it any other way. We have so much love to give and strive to be the best parents we possibly can. Going through all we did has given us an even stronger love for the children we get to be blessed with to have in our home. We feel like any typical family. We love to have quality time together, and you can often find us in our backyard having movie nights or barbeques. We like to go on outdoor adventures kayaking, hiking, and riding our side by side. But, we also just love to be cozy in our house making meals or baking treats together, playing board games, or settling down at night reading books together before bed. A couple times a year we will travel as a family. We love to spend our Saturdays at farmer’s markets, parks, zoos, or other local events. And we enjoy slow, quiet mornings and church together on Sundays, often ending the weekend with extended family for Sunday dinner. About Bryce Bryce is the Vice President of Sales at a marketing company. He loves the outdoors and working with his hands, specifically woodworking or working on cars. In his free time you can find him coaching Brexton’s baseball team, at the gym, or grilling in the backyard. He is kind, caring, adventurous, hardworking, and is the best dad to our son. I'm a cheerful, hard-working single lady who teaches at a university. I've got an incredibly strong relationship with my parents, not to mention a squad of friends who are The Best™. My job allows me to be home five days a week, and any child in my family qualifies for free tuition at the university I work at. Each day in our family is a new adventure, between teaching, hanging out with my friends, and trying to learn new things to bake. When I'm not cooking, I can often be found cuddling my dogs, watching my favorite movies, or working in the garden. But, I also love to travel and experience new cultures. Going to concerts Craft nights with friends Attending musicals and plays Favorite Shows: Ghosts, Great British Baking Show, and The Repair Shop Favorite Movies: Miss Congeniality, The Court Jester, Captain America: The Winter Soldier Favorite Vacation: Yellowstone National Park Favorite Places: Ireland and New Zealand Our Neighborhood I live in a cute Tudor-style house in a quiet neighborhood with my parents, Mat and Paula. Our backyard has about twenty rose bushes in the 'secret garden' half of the yard. On the other side of the yard is our vegetable garden. We love to grow a lot of our own vegetables and fruit; there's nothing like fresh strawberries! Just a couple of blocks away from our house is a darling park, and in the other direction is our local library. Pretty much everyone in the neighborhood knows us (mostly because the dogs love to say hi to anyone they see on our walks). We're also part of a close-knit church community, and most Sundays I walk to church. Family Traditions Every Christmas we get ornaments that represent something important for the year In the winter, we put luminaria in front of the house Halloween is when our extended family gets together for a Not-So-Spooky Dinners Every other year, we go on vacation to Yellowstone National Park
