Our Story
Adoption has been on our hearts since we started dating, and we can’t wait to become parents and build a family together. We believe that true connection with a child is about unconditional love, understanding, and building a chosen family. To us, adoption feels like a calling, something deeply meaningful and intentional. We can’t wait to welcome a child into our lives and cheer them on every step of the way!
They say to “marry your best friend,” and that’s exactly what we did. From the moment we met at a friend’s bonfire, we clicked and quickly became inseparable. A couple of years and a few dates later, we said “I do.” 11 years later, we are still loving life together. We run our own business, so our open schedules let us enjoy little everyday adventures, like taking breaks at the beach with our dog, riding bikes at the bay, visiting the zoo, or exploring new places in our city.

Matt has a talent for pretty much anything he sets his mind to. Whether he’s tinkering with computers, taking on house projects, or exploring new video games, he is always mastering some new task. He also has a knack for building things around the house and yard. Matt’s sense of humor keeps life fun and fresh, always making sure everyone has a good time. He’s the steady heart of our home, kind, thoughtful, loving, and endlessly supportive.

A BIT ABOUT MARTHA
Martha is hard-working and brings creativity, patience, and warmth into our lives. In her free time, she loves painting, reading, renovation projects around the house, and cooking. She also has a real knack for business and enjoys building & managing our rental company. She is always there for her friends and family. She is the glue that holds our home together.
We can not thank you enough for taking the time to learn a little more about us and our journey together. If it is the right fit, we hope to someday get to know more about you as well.
When we have the honor of raising a child, we will model and instill values of kindness, integrity, empathy, strength, and community. We will teach them early on about their family heritage and will be open and honest with them regarding their adoption. They will know that they are loved beyond measure by so many, including you, and we will always speak respectfully and lovingly of you. We look forward to hearing from you!

We will encourage them to consider these things in whatever path they choose to take in life. We will also remind them it’s important to take time to laugh & appreciate everything they have. I (Kate) met Ed 16 years ago online. I messaged Ed when I realized his profile had more heart & humor than the rest. Within our first conversation, we both knew we found a match in mental energy, playful banter, loyalty, & affection. We both work from home & make coffee together in the morning. We have a home-cooked meal at night & talk about anything & everything.

starting our new journey with adoption. We feel strongly that we will be led exactly where we need to be to add onto our family. We hope this message is received with love and assurance that we have the best and most genuine intentions. We know that this is the greatest gift we could possibly receive and we’re so happy that you have made it to this point. That being said, let me tell you more about our family. Our family enjoys the simple things in life. We love going on little adventures to new places, eating out on the weekends, riding our fourwheeler, going laser tagging and spending our evenings outside at our firepit with our two golden retrievers. We plan yearly vacations so we can always have something fun to look forward to. It’s a priority for us to have lasting memories and quality time together. Cory fills the role of protector and provider perfectly. He always makes sure our family has what we need. He has sacrificed a lot towards his education and has been awarded his PHD. We love cooking, skiing, traveling, and celebrating life's small joys. Kelly is a professor of elementary education, and Stéphane works in film and finance. Together, we've built a home of warmth, happiness, and love. We believe in fostering curiosity, honoring heritage, and creating a household where a child will always feel valued and embraced.
