The People Behind the Agency
Meet the A Act of Love Adoptions Team
A Act of Love was founded by an adoptive mother, and that founder's lens runs through our whole team. Many of our staff are adoptive parents or adoptees themselves. We walk with birth moms and adoptive families because most of us have lived some part of this journey personally.
Our team is made up of licensed counselors, case coordinators, legal support, and administrative staff, each committed to being present at every step. No pressure, no judgment.
Leadership
Our leadership team is responsible for compliance, partnerships, and the continuity of our mission. Full bios and contact information available on request.
Counselors
Our counselors are licensed social workers and clinicians with years of experience in adoption, pregnancy support, and crisis counseling. Birth mothers have 24/7 access to a counselor, and every adoptive family is assigned a dedicated case manager.
Legal and Administrative
Adoption attorneys, paralegals, and administrators handle the legal coordination, ICPC, home-study logistics, and post-placement paperwork. Birth mothers always receive their own independent legal counsel, separate from the agency's legal team.
Financial Interest Disclosure (H.B. 51)
Under the Utah Adoption Act (H.B. 51, 2026), any financial interest an agency member has in a service provider receiving payments on behalf of a birth parent is disclosed to the birth parent, prospective adoptive parents, the Office of Licensing, and the finalizing court. No such interests are currently on file. See our compliance page for detail.
